Uniqueness Verification
Pion node operators are categorized in four tiers based on the amount of their bonPION and verification level. See the following table for details.
** Note that $MUON private sale participants were verified at the time of sale and do not need to go through the verification process for tiers 2 & 3. $MUON pre-sale participants do not need to have Pion Meets for just Tier 2, and need to go through Pion Meets for to be granted Tier3.**
Nodes with higher tiers need to have staked a higher amount and have passed a stricter verification method. In return, they have a higher share of a subnet and a higher chance of being selected in subnets. (Learn more about Random Rotating Subnets.)
